They are water resistant. So if they do get wet they should be fine as long as the water does not get inside of the product. However they will not be water resistant if they are cracked.
The Hedron EMF shields are designed to last for the life time of the device they are attached to. We reccomend getting a new shield if you get a new device. This is only because when you unstick and restick the shield to a new device the adhesive will not be as strong, so you risk your product falling off.
Simply place your Hedron device on the Earth's surface (grassy area or near a tree away from power lines is optimal) for a minimum of 10 minutes at least once per month.
